About me

Susan Brown has been a licensed Real Estate Salesperson since 1981. Her longevity in such a demanding career is due to her honest and straightforward approach. Her customers appreciate her experience and enjoy her sense of humour. She takes them through every step of the transaction (buying or selling) and helps them cope with the intrigues of the business. She also worked for 12 years in Real Estate appraisals. 

She was born and raised in Owen Sound attending Victoria Public and West Hill High School.  She moved to Shallow Lake in 1990 and still resides there.  In 2010 she purchased a local Diner and after an extensive renovation opened it as "Muma Brown's Diner".  She ran the Diner very successfully for almost 6 years and then decided to hand the day to day management over to a tenant to enable her to return to Real Estate fulltime.  

Susan has two children, Matthew who works as a Commercial/Farm Insurance Account manager for Nicol Insurance.  Melissa lives and works in Barrie in her chosen field of Human Resource Management.  Her partner John Hayes added 4 more children to the family Steve, Sonya, Katie and Dave.  All of them, including grandchildren, enjoy the outdoors in their spare time from camping, hiking, ATV riding...

Susan has donated alot of her time and energy to raising money for local charities. She has always been active in her community including main sponsor for the Shallow Lake Crushers Hockey team for 3 years.
